Rudraprayag Tour

Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district is quite large. The center of Badrithan and Kedarnath is Rudraprayag. It was founded on September 16, 1997. Rudraprayg is situated at the point where the Alkananda and Mandakini rivers meet. It was thought that Lord Shiva bestowed a blessing on Narad at that location. Rudraprayag is one of the five Alaknanda River confluences, or Panch Prayags. Rudraprayag is located 610 meters above sea level. You can see numerous sights in Rudraprayag, including numerous lakes, glaciers, rivers, and streams. In the Rudraprayag, there are only a few temples.

Places To Visit in Rudraprayag

Koteshwar Temple
Within a cave is the Koteshwar Temple. Lord Shiva is the focus of this temple. The Koteshwar temple is located three kilometers from Rudrapray. Devotees flock to this location in August and September to offer their prayers to Lord Shiva.

Son Prayag
Son Prayag is on the way to Kedarnath and is 5 km from Gaurikund. The devotees hold the belief that one can attain the "Baikunth Dham" by simply touching the holy water of Son Prayag.

Trijuginarayan
Son Prayag is 12 kilometers away at Trijuginarayan. It is believed that this is the holy spot where Lord Shiva and Parvati tied the knot.
